Retired firefighter, love to fish
The wife and I love traveling with the 5th wheel. I like to sleep in my own bed. We are both semi retired and do a lot of weekend camping and at least 1 or 2 long trip a yr.
We are about 110 miles from Branson, Mo which is one of our favorite spots to camp.
Babyboomer couple traveling fulltime before retirement. Auto service manager 30 years, pilot, cance rsurvivor, nascar fan, in shape looking for workamper experience.
This is the best RV site to give us any and all information. As we have known about RVing through this RV club from the conception and keeps our dream going until we are out with the rest of you, RVers.
My husband and I just purchased a 2001 Carriage Cameo w/ a 1995 F350 Superduty (with all the bells and whistles needed for pulling). For the past year I have been researching the RV lifestyle and hope become full-timers in a few years. I'm an information junkie, so I've been finding all the RV sites I can to learn as much as I can.

I am fixing to retire and am interesed in traveling...wife and I have a sandpiper fifth wheel.
Have been An Avid RVer since 1992 and a silent RV-Talk since it started. Enjoy reading rv talk. My wife Susie and I are members of the Tennessee Ridge Runners FMCA chapter and think the friendships we've made while camping are the best part of being able to travel and see this great country.
My wife and I are retired and have just become rvers.
new rv park that has opened up with extreme ball ride on premises that is geared toward baby boomers
I'm a former RVer and am writing a book about friends who solve a mystery in an RV park, an association for retirees. I hope it's okay if I ask questions as I write. Are there any other writers out there? anyone know about a mystery with RVers as detectives? or, for that matter, victims?
Thanks.
We are so new at this that we don't even have our RV yet. Next spring. Not going to be fulltimers, just fun timers. We have a lot to learn and a little scared at this point. Hope the economy gets back together or we may be just old timers.
I'm a retired driver for C.R.England Trucking. I drove all 48 states and Canada and never got to stop and smell the roses so to speak as I averaged 3500 to 4000 miles a week. So, now RG (that's me), BK (that's Beverly) and the 5er take all the time we want to see it all as slow as we want. Our base is in Crossville, TN. Our 5er is an 2007 Outback-Sydney Edition 32FRLDS 35ft with 2 slideouts and is pulled by a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 SLE Crew Cab 6.6L Duramax/Allison 6 speed trans with a Reece 16K Slider and a Yamaha EF3000iSEB generator installed forward of the hitch. So far we have only been to Walt Disney World in Florida for the 1st time in our lives (I am 62 and she is 63 yrs old) and stayed at the Ft Wilderness Campground there, Long Lake and Moreau State Park, both in Upstate New York and that's it, so we are pretty new to RVing. We really want so bad to continue our travels and meet many others who are enjoying this as much as we are.
My wife Bonny and I own an older mobile home park. We are semi-retired and enjoy RVing, mostly boondocking. I enjoy photography, photo editing and woodworking. My wife spends much free time quilting, scrapbooking and beading. Our first love is camping. I also do a little Dutch oven cooking.

I(Barry)am65 Wife (Sharon) 63. We have been living on the road for 6 years. We are not the typical rver tho we tend to travel find, not in campgrounds, and stay in a location for 6 to 9 months

I'm the president of the RVClub and have run the web site and mailing list for more than 10 years. I got involved with online RV communities while online editor at Affinity Group (Good Sam Club) in 1996/97. I work full-time in online media for a newspaper company and live outside of Rochester, NY with my wife, three cats and dog.
We camp in a 2007 36' K-Z Sportsmen Fifth Wheel towed by 2004 Ford F-350, 4WD, short bed. Husband is retired and enjoys fly fishing. I'm still working. Travel to Colorado each September with our buddies, the Oklahoma Gang, fellow rv'rs. Camp throughout the year at various Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri parks/lakes. Try to take advantage of our "Sr." federal park passes whenever possible. Life is good. Enjoy this site. Thanks Howard.

We're Pat and Diana Curry. Originally from Lubbock, Texas (Home of the famous "TREE" - we've only got one but by gosh we're proud of it :-) and currently from Livingston, Texas. We retired in May of 2006, sold the house, put the stuff in storage and hit the road full time. In our first 2 years we made it from the southernmost point in the US (Key West) to the northernmost (Point Barrow, Alaska) and have had a fantastic time doing it. We travel in our 2000 Discovery with our 2 Schnauzers, Bob and Baylee and love the lifestyle. Look for the Discovery with the RV Club stickers front and rear and say hi.

New to retirement and new to RV'ing......but adjusting to both rapidly.

We are a family of three. We live Saratoga County, New York. Jim and I have been married since 1992. Finally, in 2004, we were blessed with the birth of Andrew, our first (and only) child. He is the most wonderful child you could ever meet.
We are brand new to the RV scene. Our dog, Cody, will enjoy the road trips as much as we will.
Peace,
Larissa

We are new RV owners and just started traveling learning the RV'ers lifestyle
Charter member and the first (I think) Community Leader appointed by Howard in the early days of the then new RV Club. My first assignment was to collect the biographies and later I took on the role of New Member Services.
I, along with two other members of the RV Club (Maureen Valley and Jill Raffel) hosted the first Oz RV rally in Junction City, KS (June 1998). It wasn't the first gathering of RV Club members (there were two earlier gatherings-one at the Dallas/Ft Worth RV Show and another in Florida), but it was the first major gathering of a large number of RV Club members, and a big event to those of us that attended, since it was the first time many of us that were active with the RV Club got to meet face-to-face. Oz continues to be an annual event.
I am a retired federal employee (Department of Defense) and spend 12 years of that career as a Legal Administrator at a military prison. I retired in 2002, had an auction to get rid of the 30 some year accumulation of treasures, sold the house to the second person that looked at it, and hit the road as a fulltimer. I love the lifestyle and have never looked back. The RV Club played a very big part in my pursuit of the RVing lifestyle and I have acquired many friends that I'd not have met otherwise, friends who have been a part of my life for well over 10 years now.
Retired, 15 years as a full timer, with a network router in the RV for the last 5 years. Helping computer users where ever we park it.
Having been RVing for the last 35 years, I am always interested in sharing and learning new places to RV and get new ideas about RV rigs.
38 year old Canadian, with wife and 2 young daughters 7 and 2. Want to buy class A to travel on trips with family.

We live in Adelaide which is city in South Australia and would love to hear from fellow RVrs
My husband and I began to fulltime in 2005. We love reading about the rv lifestyle. Gary wants to catch a fish in every state we visit. We also like to entertain folks with our country music.

CAMPING FOR OVER 20 YEARS, BOUGHT A MOTOR HOME 4 YRS AGO AND LOVE EVERY MIN.OF IT. RETIRING AGAIN THIS YEAR AND HOPE TO SPEND MORE TIME ON THE ROAD
Not new to rving; not new to rv-talk; just want to "re-up" again.
My wife and I have a 1988 Winnebago Itasca 31'. It appeared to be like-new but we soon found out that things break, wear out, or were never designed right to begin with. I was a systems engineer before retiring and now I am a system engineer keeping all things working and learning how to keep them working.
Wife Kelly and I are looking forward to retirement and moving into the fulltime lifestyle. Currently use a 31 ft Sunnybrook 5th wheel and an MDT as toter. Looking for a good 2nd hand Class A for an upgrade.

I grew up on a farm and hated it, so I moved to the city. But, now that I'm retired, I like to travel around the country in my little motorhome to see the sights. And, I avoid cities all I can, except when I come home.

I'm retired now, I just take things one day at a time.
