Through all of those years, she's developed a system for ensuring that she doesn't forget important items. Below are her check lists, which you should save as a text file (use the "save as" command with your browser) and then open in a text editor and modify to suit your needs.

            CHECK LISTS

Before leaving home:
 ____ all items on previous list packed in trlr/truck
 ____ membership cards
 ____ trailer keys
 ____ feed cat
 ____ arrange for care of pets
 ____ arrange for pickup of mail and flyers
 ____ newspapers - cancel or have picked up
 ____ phone number or itinerary with a trusted 
 	friend/neighbor
 ____ security watch for home (neighbor, 
 	friend, police)

Hitch up procedures:
 ____ all items in trailer stowed, fridge off 
 	or on propane
 ____ windows and vents closed, miniblinds closed
 ____ all outdoor equipment stowed, stairs folded
 ____ prepare slide-out for travel, remember 
 	travel bars
 ____ unhook sewer, water, electric
 ____ turn off propane (unless towing with 
 	fridge on)
 ____ raise back jacks and put away optional 
 	front stabilizers
 ____ optional king pin stabilizer
 ____ hitch trailer to truck and lock on, 
 	breakaway switch
 ____ front landing gear raised
 ____ remove chocks
 ____ check lights

Unhitch procedures:
 ____ situate in site, level side to side
 ____ front landing gear dropped and locked
 ____ chock wheels
 ____ unlock hitch, remove breakaway, move truck
 ____ level trailer from front to back
 ____ rear stabilizer jacks, extra front jacks
 ____ hookups: electric, water, sewer, propane
 ____ slide out (stabilizer jacks)
 ____ ensure that all compartments and 
 		doors are closed and locked (when 
		going into dead storage)
 ____ battery disconnect (when going into dead storage)
